Please email us with an up-to-date referral from your GP and let us know when and where you last saw our psychiatrists. We will help you arrange the next available appointment.

The wait time fluctuates however we typically expect a 6-8 weeks wait.

You can let us know by email that you would like a sooner appointment. If there is any cancellation we can reach out to you.

Yes, a referral from your GP (General Practitioner) is required to see a psychiatrist. This referral helps us understand your needs and allows us to ensure the best possible care. A referral is also required to process your medicare rebate.

Please see your GP to arrange a referral addressed to ‘Dear Doctor' specifying duration of referral (eg 12 month, 24 months, indefinite). Make sure you keep a copy yourself.

Psychiatrists are medical doctors with specialised training in psychiatry, focusing on assessment, diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders. Psychiatrists are also specialists in using medication if indicated in the management plan.

In contrast, psychologists have completed a minimum Bachelor and/or a Masters degree in psychology and are specialist in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders.

Both psychologists and psychiatrists have high ethical and professional codes of conduct to which they must adhere and are required to meet strict standards to be registered.

The duration of treatment varies for everyone. Some people may benefit from a few sessions, whilst others might need ongoing support. We will work together to determine a treatment plan that suits your needs and review it regularly.

• Medicare rebate will be processed on the day of your appointment.

• A 25% deposit is taken for appointment bookings

• Full payment is required prior to your consultation

• You will receive email appointment reminders 7-day and 2-day prior to your appointment

• Please note consultation fees are subject to reviews and adjustment

• Documentation, letters, reports, scripts outside of consultation will incur a fee

Yes, we offer Telehealth consultations for clients who cannot attend in person. Telehealth may be available for both initial and follow-up appointments.

We take your privacy seriously. All personal and medical information is stored securely and treated in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which you can review as part of the online intake form for more details on how your data is managed.

We understand that life can be unpredictable. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide at least 48-business hour notice. The notice period allows sufficient time for patients on the waiting list to access the appointment time.

You will receive an email appointment reminder 7 days before your appointment, as well as an additional SMS reminder 2 days prior.

If you are unable to attend in person, please advise us by email and the consultation can occur via telehealth.

Cancellation within the 48-business hour will incur the full fee of the appointment.
